Text Box: Colorado Association of Permit Technicians Text Box: CAPT COLORADO Text Box: Do you have questions about the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC)?  The Governor’s Energy Office is partnering with local governments throughout Colorado to offer FREE trainings on the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC).  The International Code Council (ICC), a nationally recognized code training organization, will deliver the trainings at no cost for local code officials, home builders, developers, architects, engineers and other building industry professionals.  These one-day trainings will focus on both the commercial and residential building components of the 2009 IECC, as well how it compares to earlier versions.  The course materials will highlight relevant elements of the code for building in Colorado.  All attendees receive official code books, work book resources, and continuing technical assistance from ICC.  See the attached flyer or visit the Governor’s Energy Office Web site (www.colorado.gov/energy) for complete schedule and registration information.  Sign up for a session near you!
