PERMANENT GOALS

 

· Educate the public, building safety and fire prevention professions on the duties, responsibilities and services a Permit Technician provides to the industry

· Promote and recognize Permit Technicians as invaluable front counter staff

· Encourage and promote education and certification of the Permit Technician

·  Promote and support the ideals of the International Code Council (ICC)

· Educate and promote chapter and member benefits of the ICC and CAPT organizations

 

2009 GOALS

 

· Update policy and procedure handbook on an annual basis

· Update chapter operations manual on an annual basis (i.e., board member office descriptions/duties

· Continue to offer high quality educational opportunities

· Continue to improve and enhance communication between members, committee members and board of directors

· Cultivate and promote a team player atmosphere within the organization

· Continue to increase member involvement in the Chapter

à Retain current members

à Attract new Board members and Chapter members

à Invite members to board meetings

à Mentor and develop members into chapter leaders

à Encourage feedback on all aspects of chapter operations and performance

à Include member profiles in the newsletter
